ICT Instructor (Information Communication Technology)

Good Neighbors International strives to improve lives, especially children lives through education, food, shelter, community development, medical care, advocacy and emergency relief since its establishment in 1991.

Good Neighbors is looking for dynamic individuals to join our highly motivated team in the following roles;


ICT Instructor (Information Communication Technology (1 Post)

Reports to: Principal
Location: Tegeta Vocational Training Center (Madale) Dsm

Duties and Responsibilities

In charge of computer laboratory at Vocational Training Centre.
Prepare instructional materials as per curriculum including learning and training materials.
Processing and providing the right combination of computer software and hardware.
Teach students as per programs and within required time.
Prepare weekly plan.
Carry out assessment and evaluation to students as per Competence Based Assessment (CBA).
Provide and supervise opportunities for students to demonstrate individually the skills and work produced in computer course
Responsible to ensure safety of class properties and other properties that are under his authority.
Managing attendance of students.
Ensure student’s discipline as per the centre regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Communication Technology (ICT) or Level III of the core subject.
• Two years experience of teaching
• Competent in designing and implementing websites, graphics, maintain and repair micro computer
• Competent in Micro Office application, Computer software and hardware,, Internet and Network Hardware
• Excellent communication skills, fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Hard-working and demonstrated ability to learn.
• Show excellent level of competence and integrity in work.
