Tetra Tech, through its subsidiary Tetra Tech ARD
(http://www.tetratechintdev.com). a US-based international development firm is implementing a USAID-funded project 'the Tanzania Water Resources Integration Development Initiative (WARIDI) which seeks to achieve improvements in health, water resources management, agriculture, climate change adaptation and the environment in Tanzania. Win rock Intemational (http://www.winrock.org), a US-based international non-profit Organization , is a sub-contractor to Tetra Tech on WARIDI and is supporting its implementation.
Tetra Tech and Winrock are advertising for the following positions to be based in the Office (except where noted). All applicants should be Tanzanian citizens and be fluent in Swahili and English. Some positions are immediate and some will be phased in over the coming 3 - 4 months. Ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity and gender are essential requirements

Technical Lead (1 post) -Iringa Office

Experience: Minimum of 10 years' experience working in community development (with one or more of Water, Sanitation, Productive Use, Private Sector)' on donor funded projects,

Education: Graduate MSc degree in a Technical Degree and/or Social Sciences or a Bachelor Degree with at least 15 years' experience,'

Management Experience: Experience in building up, managing and effectively supervising a diverse team of employees, Experience building capacity of local organizations, Strong management, organizational, conceptual, strategic and analytical skills

Responsibilities:-Project technical lead for Iringa Office concerning project planning activities as well as ensuring execution on the ground, Working with Districts and other partners on promotion and implementation of water, sanitation, productive use and private sector activities, The project will focus on the strengthening of district NGO capacities, training, extension and other relevant topics, The Technical
Lead will manage the regional Iringa office and oversee all program activities to ensure expected and timely results and will manage subcontracts and staff, Ensure that project activities on the ground take place and that all Tanzania and USAID norms are respected when work is carried out,
