Role purpose:
To achieve Regional sales Targets to enable the business of the allocated Accounts and acquire new accounts, BiR also Fixed Partners and help them extend to their fullest business potential, applying an immediate/mid/long-term view. Day to day activities include sales to develop business plans, leverage on strengths and provide support and evaluates customer preferences, pricing, product terms and conditions to ensure that client requirements are met. Responsible to development of to the partners to streamline the on-boarding, activation, billing, support process and ultimately improve the overall customer experience for partners & channels in the SME & SoHo segment within Vodacom making the strong relation between Sales force(Partners) and Vodacom Customers. source Mkaguzi

Key accountabilities and decision ownership
• Delivers against annual targets on Revenue and TCV while keeping operational expenses of team to budgeted levels.
• Responsible for the in country acquisition of Vodacom Enterprise accounts and delivery of profitable, long term business of those accounts to Vodacom
• Works collaboratively to provide direction on the service relationship for nominated accounts
• Inputs to decisions on new propositions, product mix and services for customers
• Identifies opportunities for revenue growth – translates customer needs into solutions that enables both the customer and Vodacom profitability
• Account management with full P&L responsibility for an Vodacom Enterprise
• To enable the business of the allocated Sales force ,BiR also Fixed Partners and help them extend to their fullest business potential, applying an immediate/mid/long-term view
• Introduces new innovations and concepts to key decision makers within the customer through relationship and stakeholder management of CEO’s and Sales Directors within all key clients. Understands up front through engagement at the right business level the customer’s strategic and operational issues.
• Collaborates on the service relationship with Customers, Vodacom and Partner Network customer base, agrees and ensure delivery of agreed service levels
• Develops integrated and partnered sales, customer fulfilment and pre and post sales strategy for accounts which drive through all areas of the customers’ business with Vodacom. Core competencies, knowledge and experience
• Attracts and enables Sales Talents to grow by creating opportunities in sales team
• Ensures Sales Teams are motivated and that accounts and opportunities are allocated to maximize revenue growth
• Ensures diversity and attrition targets within sales teams are met
• Helps create new revenue streams from new products, via partnerships and by selling through accounts
• Provide and direct mobile communications ‘thought leadership’, to the industry sector and internally within Vodacom
• Ensure appropriate training is provided to and completed by all team members and that these skills are applied in daily operations Self-starter – must be proactive, initiate and drive work streams, able to operate independently and take the initiative.

Must have technical/professional qualifications:
• University degree or MBA advantage
• Proven Sales Success; min 5 yrs
• Proficiency in English and at least one other language
• Ability to work and manage in an ambiguous/changing environment
• Proactive, self-motivated, ability to work independently, prepared to cold-call
• Proven results in successful account acquisition and development in an enterprise multi-national environment

Senior Legal Specialist
Tanzania
Role purpose:
Senior Legal Specialist responsible to manage and provide corporate legal services as in-house counsel in the Legal team and endeavor to provide effective link between the team and internal and external stakeholders in all legal matters.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership
• Working in collaboration with all levels of management to guarantee availability of valid and appropriate contracts for all areas of business.
• Managing aspect of control of contracts and other legal documents in the Division in line with company delegation of authority
• Timely provision of legal advice and support to management pertaining to various business issues as and when needed.
• Overseeing execution of contracts in line with legal and regulatory policies and procedures.

• Managing all disputes and litigation involving suppliers and ensure availability of records and relevant reports.
• Ensuring legal policies and procedure are in place and updated to confirm with company legal requirement.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience
• Very good knowledge of legal concepts, techniques and principles
• High level of computer literacy exceptionally conversant with Word
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer oriented approach
• strong communication skills, fluency in English and Kiswahili and ability to interact with other team members
• Outstanding ability to apply knowledge of Law and advise Management accordingly.
• At least three years’ experience in telecommunication industry or any FMCG or busy corporate legal service-providing law firm

Must have technical/professional qualifications:
• A holder of Bachelor of Laws from a recognized university,
• A Registered Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and Courts sub-ordinate thereto for not less than 5 years’ experience.
