Qualifications: Secondary school education or above
Experience: Previous experience in the mining industry is advantageous, though prior experience is not mandatory.
Purpose of the Role: The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the planned holes are drilled according to plan, sample collected based on the best QAQC practices, stored and prepared in a manner that minimizes contamination.

- Prepare RC sample bags and label them accordingly
- Participate in RC sampling
- Oversee the quality of samples produced
- Diamond core sampling and core mark up
- Preparation of samples and insertion of QA/QC materials
- Moving core trays and arranging them for the Geologist to log
- Maintaining good house-keeping at the drill sites and coreshed
- Work safely and at all times and by the guidelines and procedures established as safe practice
Additional Requirements:
- Must be physically fit and mentally sound.
- Ability to communicate in Swahili and English
- Should be keen and enthusiastic and willing to learn, and demonstrate sound safety performance and compliance.
- Valid Tanzanian driving license will be an added advantage
