Kilombero Sugar Company Limited, the largest producer of sugar in the country cohesively
with extra neutral Alcohol Distillery (IDTL) is looking for qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Mechanical Superintendent at the Distillery. This position is primary involves management and control of the Distillery Mechanical Maintenance Sections within a specified budget and providing a prompt and efficient services to fellow customers, meanwhile driving cost down and improving performance.

Duties and Accountabilities:
  1. Ensure good and safe maintenance practice at all times.
  2. Ensure all aspects of legislation and safety systems are applied to the full extend and ensure that persons reporting to you comply and work requirements.
  3. Ensure maintenance spare is controlled and ordered timeously.
  4. Troubleshooting skills.
  5. Co-ordination and communication skills. Get things done in conformity to the required quality and safety standards systems
  6. Pay significant attention to details, committed, hardworking and flexible to changes and be a team player.
  7. Open a door approach, co-operation with staff, and strong drive towards superior performance.
  8. Control maintenance artisan and helpers reportage to you.
  9. Improving and enforcing good workmanship through coaching and training


Manning Specifications:
  1. Degree in mechanical Engineering including Mathematics and Science
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience, working in the field of Mechanical Maitanance at Distillery or Chemical Plant.
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
