KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop new opportunities with prospective bulk customers in Dar es Salaam area as
well as manage group accounts and supervise bulk orders across the country.
• Liaise with all upcountry Sales Representatives regarding bulk activities and volume growth.
• Understand the activity, business and needs of customers, provide sound information and advice on products and services, and to sell and negotiate win-win solutions with customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits and offer training to customers on safe handling and usage of LPG.
• Inspects LPG Installations at customer sites and ensure their compliance with HSSE, technical and brand standards.
• Monitor competition activities in the market and provide feedback to Senior Management to facilitate appropriate actions and decisions.
• Ensure proper customer service and immediately respond to customer complaints and comments.
• Follow up customer orders and ensure timely delivery of the products, ensuring sufficient stocks at customer installations is maintained at all times.
• Management Reporting
Report on-going issues and trends to management for resolution.
Be proactive and advise management on how to improve the services
Knowledge and Experience Required
Education
The applicants should possess either of the following Minimum qualifications-
a. BSc. Civil Engineering
b. BSc. Mechanical Engineering
Years’ Experience
• 5 years minimum in Sales.
Personal Characteristics
• The ability to communicate effectively via telephone. This will require a friendly person with an even temperament and good people skills able to handle difficult customers tactfully however being firm when required.
• Good listener. .
• Business acumen.
• Time Management skills.
• Negotiation skills.
• High level of honesty and integrity.
• Self-driven and action orientated.
