Erepo Development Estates is looking for an experienced Town Planner to assist them in Regularization project in Dar Es Salaam.

JOB TITLE : TOWN PLANNER – 5 POST

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Co-ordinate and communicate with other institutions/organizations, Local Government Authorities, Transport Authorities, Dar es Salaam City residents and other service providers on improvement and proper land uses .
  • Preparations and analysis of Resettlement Action Plan mitigation issues.
  • Developing the initial design ideas or design ideas and improve the developed area.
  • Prepare proposals for new projects such as settlements upgrading or redevelopment .
  • Ensuring that all changes in the use of land are incorporated in drawings.
  • Keep informed about policy and legal issues involved in the city physical development.
  • Performs such other related duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelors Degree/Advanced Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning from any academic Institution recognized by the TCU/Government of Tanzania.
