BUWASA is an autonomous entity which is responsible for supplying of clean and safe
water as well as provision of sanitation services for Bukoba Municipality.
The Authority is looking for competent, dynamic, energetic, committed, experienced and well qualified Tanzanian who is capable of embracing and driving change in BUWASA to till the following vacant posts.
POSITION: COMMERCIAL MANAGER (ONE POST)
(i) Required Qualifications and Experience
Holder of Degree in any field of Engineering/Business Administration/Finance or any related field from a recognized University plus strong interpersonal skills, Six years of experience with at least 3 years of Senior level Management roles in planning, directing, reporting and administrative responsibilities on customer relations from a reputable large or medium business organization.
(ii) Duties & Responsibilities
Head of Commercial Department
Create and implement short term business plans and long term strategic plans.
Coordinate the preparation of annual capital and operating budgets of the department.
Maintain good customer relations by responding to their requests and complaints.
Overall Debt Management
Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Managing Director.
2. POSITION: DRIVERS (2 POSTS)
(i) Required Qualifications and Experience
Form I V/VI Certificate with clean valid Class C Driving License and possession of Trade Test Grade I/II (Motor Vehicle) with 3 years motor vehicle driving experience.
(ii) Duties and Responsibilities
Driving properly any type of vehicle assigned to him/her.
Ensuring that the vehicle assigned is always clean, in good running condition and is parked in safe place.
Undertaking routine checks on the vehicle to ensure that it is serviceable.
Reporting promptly any detected fault or defect on the motor vehicle.
Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Human Resources Officer.
