1.0 Position: Lecturer: PUTS 3.3 (1 Position)
School of Environmental Sciences and Technology: One (1) position in Environmental Sciences/Engineering.
1.1 Required qualifications
(i) Holder of a PhD degree from recognized institution plus a Master’s degree with a GPA of 4.0 and above and an Upper Second Bachelor Degree with a GPA of 3.8 and above for classified degrees and for unclassified degree an overall performance of B+ grade or above. Both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees must be obtained from recognized institutions
1.2 Duties and responsibilities
(i) To teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses;
(ii) To supervise research, theses and dissertation of postgraduate students;
(iii) To supervise practical training of undergraduate students;
(iv) To conduct research, consultancy and public service;
(v) To perform any other duties assigned to him/her from time to time.
2.0 Position: Assistant Lecturer: PUTS 2.1 (19 Positions)
School of Business Studies: Five (5) positions in the following areas: - Marketing (2), Quantitative Methods (1) and Business Administration (2).
School of Social Sciences: Two (2) positions) in the following areas: - Political Science (1) and Sociology (1).
School of Humanities: One (1) position in the area of Chinese Language.
School of Informatics: One (1) position in the area of Health Information Systems or Health Informatics.
School of Physical Sciences: Two (2) positions) in the following areas: Physics (1) and Chemistry (1).
School of Mathematical Sciences: Two (2) positions) in the following areas: Statistics (1) and Mathematics (1).
School of Educational Studies: One (1) position in the area of Special Needs Education (Visual Impairment).

2.1 Required qualifications
(a) Holders of Master’s Degree in a relevant field with a GPA of 4.0 out of 5 plus at least an Upper Second Bachelor Degree with a minimum GPA of 3.8 and above for classified degrees and for unclassified degree an overall of B+ grade or above.

(b) Holders of Masters Degrees by Research must have Bachelors degree with a minimum GPA of 3.8 and above for classified degrees and for unclassified degrees an overall of B+ grade or above. Both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees must be obtained from recognized institutions.
