Process Shift Superintendent reporting to Assistant Process Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Controls, directs and reports all processing activities during shifts.
• Ensures good quality sugar is produced during shifts and maintains all records during the shifts.
• Liaises closely with the Shift Engineer to ensure good coordinating between milling and production section of the factory.
• Ensures safety is instituted and enforced in the shifts.
• Monitors and ensures that production performance parameters are achieved.
• Ensures that consistent and correct responses are made by the factory staff to routine queries and accession making situations.
• Supervises and Carries out shift administration.

• People management, leadership skills and report writing skills.
• Burning desire to succeed in a high performance environment and ready to work long hours.
• Mentally and physically fit.

Assistant Medical Officer reporting to Chief Medical Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for rendering effective and efficient medical care to all stakeholders at Kilombero.
Duties and Accountabilities:
• Writes reports.
• Attends to patients at OPD.
• Makes an evaluation of previously treated patients in terms of clinical progress and changes management accordingly Support and measure the continuous improvement initiatives within the company.
• Attends to specific diseases. Chronic illnesses with special National programmers like TB & LEPROSY, STDs, compiles data, materials and drugs used and makes follow-up to when they recover, sends reports on these conditions to the DMO
• Makes ward rounds
• Monitors progress of patients
• Do minor operations
• Makes follow-up on patients progress
• Keeps issue and monitors stock of medicine for specific clinics
• Assists the Doctor in operations.
• Refers patients to the Medical Officers’ attention Benchmarking and Optimisation of costs within the Illovo Group
• Assists the Chief Medical Officer on a day to day work requirements.
Job Requirements
• Advanced Diploma in Clinical Medicine.
• Must have at least five years’ working experience in clinical medicine in a recognizable hospital
• Should have surgical skills and must be able to perform C/section and basic emergency obstetric procedures
• Training in Basic ART, PMTCT, TB or relevant TB/HIV knowledge and skills to attend PLHIV is strongly needed
• Good knowledge and skills in conducting Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension clinics is an added advantage
• Able to work on extra time hours
• Able to work under pressure
• Must be able to demonstrate management and leadership skills
• Knowledge of occupational and public health
