dealing with Air Ticketing and Ground Handling Services.
In order to keep our services at a higher level and meet our customers’ maximum satisfaction we wish to invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the challenging position.
POSITION: Reservations and Ticketing sales personnel
REPORTS TO: Branch Manager
DUTY STATION: Songea
Role Purpose Statement: To provide efficient and effective customer focused passenger tickets sales and reservation.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
(i) Do reservations and ticketing for all clients to generate sales,
(ii) Fare quotes to all clients to provide the best applicable fares and generate sales.
(iii) Recruit and handle existing and prospective frequent fliers to win and retain loyalty,
(iv) Printing and reconciling of sales returns to accounts for daily sales,
(v) Promote products and services to create awareness and generate sales and revenue,
(vi) Promote direct telephone sales as to reduce distribution costs and generate sales,
(vii) Handle calls and attend to customers for efficient and effective office operations/functions
(viii) Improve customer satisfaction and reduce cases of complaints
(ix) Answer inquiries regarding information such as schedules, procedures, and policies.
(x) Inform clients of essential travel information, such as travel times, transportation connections, and medical requirements.
(xi) Determine whether space is available on travel dates requested by customers, assigning requested spaces when available.
(xii) Make and confirm reservations for customers, using telephones, faxes, mail and computers,
(xiii) Prepare customer invoices and accept payment.
(xiv) Contact customers or travel agents to advise them of travel conveyance changes or to confirm reservations.
(xv) Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Remuneration and Benefits:
Gross Salary (Inclusive of Basic pay & housing allowance) of TZS 500,000 per month which is subject to taxes, duties and other statutory deductions. Bonus payment may be awarded on reaching the target and subject to Management discretion.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- At least Diploma in IATA or relevant qualifications
- Certification in relevant Computer applications
- Experience in delivering service in demanding customer environment
- Fluency in appropriate foreign languages is an added advantage
