The Sales Team Leader
will oversee the function of coaching, motivating, coordinating and
supervising the sales team to reach company targets in his or her district.
This includes direct supervision of sales activities
l Planning and
coordination of all sales (and Ongeza) activities to meet or exceed targets
l Monitoring of sales
process and reporting of issues to continuously improve sales
l Providing effective
coaching and mentoring sessions by phone and by regular travel to Sale
Officer’s Ward
l Ensuring Sales Officer’s
complete all sales and depositing money into the mobile money account
l Delivering, monitoring
and auditing of Ongeza products and stock levels with Sales Officers
l Encouraging Sales
Officers to meet their targets and sharing lessons learnt with colleagues
l To make sure that Ongeza
is recognized in the Ward
l Representing the Values,
Mission & Vision of Ongeza
l Must have minimum of
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics
l Must have 2-5 years of
experience in sales with proven results
l Must be able to
communicate effectively and use google docs
l Must know how to ride a
motorbike and must own the relevant licence
l Must have experience to
work in rough rural areas and love to spend 4-6 hours per day on motorcycle
in hard rain, hot sun and storm weather
l Must be fluency in
Kiswahili and strong command of English
l Must have a proven
record of growing and leading a team while meeting targets
