Marie Stopes Tanzania (MST) is the Non-governmental Organization dully registered under the law of Tanzania, and it is centered in a marketing-focused, results-oriented social enterprise, which uses modern management and marketing techniques to provide family planning, reproductive and sexual healthcare and allied services. MST is a member of the Marie Stopes International (MSI) Global Partnership, which operates in over 37 countries worldwide. MST’s goal is to improve quality of life in Tanzania by dramatically improving access to and use of family planning and other reproductive health services.

Purpose:
The Centre Manager oversees the daily running of the clinic. S/he develops coordinates and facilitates the implementation of Centre plan, strategies and program according to annual strategic plan and budget. S/he supervises the provision of high quality Health Services at the Centre.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develops Clinic in line with the values of MSI Partnership and the goals of maximizing access of clients to affordable and high quality family planning services
• Develops sustainable business for the centre within the approved annual budget, by striving for income from services to meet or exceed budgeted targets
• Leads high quality service delivery of Family Planning, reproductive and general health services.
• Manages the electronic patient information system and checks the quality of recorded entered by the team.
• Submits reports in a timely manner both electronic and hard copies to Clinics lead.
• Manages effective adequate stock but not excessive to the Center and timely does routine reconciliation and submits stock reports and orders.
• Manages team members performance including setting targets and conducts occasional perform reviews to identify training needs.
• Creates a working culture according to Marie Stopes Tanzania core values and behaviours in order to maximize Excellency and productivity while practising a zero tolerance behaviour to any fraudulent activities
• Minimizes rejection rates among corporate clients and maximizes high standards of customer care in collaboration with Customer Care Manger.
• Manages and monitors activities of CBMs in line with overall marketing goals of MST and application of ‘value for money’ principle
• Participates in development of strategic initiatives/plans

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
• Diploma in Clinical Medicine or Diploma in Nursing;
• Business Administration is an added advantage
• Fluent English both oral and written.
Experience:
• At least 2 years’ experience in the health Industry
• At least 3 years’ experience in managerial position
• Practical knowledge in family planning methods and sexual reproductive health
• Proven track record of managing a self-sustainable health centre or related facility ;
