POSITION 1: Regional Branch Operations Manager (1 post)
The Regional Branch Operations Manager is primarily responsible to plan, direct, and coordinate the
operations of the EFC by formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of
materials and human resources.

The Reginal Branch Operations Manager should absolutely have good practical knowledge of branch
operations in the bank services sector and the foresight to see how the related intricate day-to-day
activities link with and support the achievement of the mission and vision of the EFC Bank. In this

POSITION 1: Regional Branch Operations Manager (1 post)
The Regional Branch Operations Manager is primarily responsible to plan, direct, and coordinate the
operations of the EFC by formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of
materials and human resources.
The main responsibilities:
- Provide a strong day-to-day leadership presence to all staff that encourages an ‘open door’ team environment;
- Support the cultivation of EFC values throughout the organization;
- Support the advance of a human capital development and “coaching” culture within EFC;
- Collaborate with and support the Human Resources Manager in matters pertaining to training, development, employee relations and supervision, performance evaluation and recruiting;
- Support the development of a topnotch workforce and the processes that ensure EFC runs smoothly;
- Ensure that all necessary licenses, permits, certificates and insurances required to operate EFC Branches are present and up to date;
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations applicable to EFC operations and reporting requirements;
- Initiate and assist in developing policy recommendations and setting of priorities;
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures relevant to the scope of authority and accountability of the position;
- Implement and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards;
- Support the development and implementation of effective business development strategies
- including identification of geographic growth opportunities and priorities;
- Communicate EFC branding both internally and externally;
- Implement strategies and operational plans to ensure EFC growth and profitability;
- Optimize internal processes and resources to meet growth demands while maintaining high +levels of customer satisfaction and service;
- Lead management efforts, as well as strategic and operational approaches to developing and delivering exceptional and innovative products services;
- Ensure that contracts are renewed for all products and services (repeat business);
- Lead and/or support initiatives that will raise additional capital as required for expansion;
- Lead and manage the overall administration and business operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
The Reginal Branch Operations Manager should absolutely have good practical knowledge of branch
operations in the bank services sector and the foresight to see how the related intricate day-to-day
activities link with and support the achievement of the mission and vision of the EFC Bank. In this
regard, specific qualifications and requirements include:
- Masters in Business Administration (MBA);
- Five years of experience operating in a bank;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Kiswahili;
- Excellent problem solving skills;
- Leadership, conflict management and negotiation skills.
