Intern (3 Months- Operation Department - Construction)Description
Duties and Responsibilities• Assisting in general duties in the office• Producing /maintaining contract, documents using programs such as Word, Excel and (Photoshop).• Helping in the designing for every project.• Working with the finance department to assess the financial requirements of a project.• Monitoring construction site in regulation.
Qualification• Minimum Diploma degree regarding Construction or Architecture• Previous experience is not a prerequisite

Sponsorship OfficerDescriptionDuties and Responsibilities• Responsible for new children finding.• Ensuring the successful implementation of Annual Child Letter, Annual Progress Reports, Home Visits and Monitoring of Sponsored Children.• Ensuring quality submission of correspondences e.g. Child Intake Form, Annual Progress Reports, Drop-out Reports using the Child Management System.• Create and regularly update a database for beneficiaries and sponsors ensuring that pertinent details and documents are filed regularly.• Ensure the delivery of gifts and letters from sponsors to the children and ensure the submission of replies.• Making of children identity cards for the registered children.• Ensuring all pictures do match with children’s information.• Checking children who are in need of emergency services and report to sponsorship manager.• To identify time to time demands of the project.• Respond effectively to sponsor queries or response whenever they arise.• To prepare budget request for all facilities demanded for the project.• In charge of Child Management System which involves Child Intake Program and Community Development Child Management Program.
Criteria• At least 2 years of experience working in relevant field.• Bachelor degree in social studies or relevant field• Fluency in English.• Advanced skills in using MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Internet and E-mail.• Ability to deliver assigned duties on time and with accuracy.• Hard-working and demonstrated ability to learn.
Principal -Vocational Training Centre (1 Post)DescriptionDuties and Responsibilities• Planning, monitoring and assessing all educational aspects of the centre.• Responsible for general control and supervision of duties and responsibilities of other staffs.• Establish curriculum, training materials, training processes and ensuring training standards are maintained.• Counseling and ensuring discipline is well maintained within the Centre.• Ensure appropriate records and documents are well maintained.• Prepare weekly plan.• Carry out assessment and evaluation to all staff of Vocational Training Centre.• Responsible to ensure safety of center’s properties and surrounding.• Required to follow all regulations and procedures set by Good Neighbors Tanzania.• Reports to the Field Coordinator of Good Neighbors Tanzania.• Any other duty as may be assigned by the authority.
Criteria• At least 5 years of experience working in vocational training.• At least 1 year of experience in training community• Certificate in Technical/Vocational Education or equivalent• Fluency in English.

Project OfficerDescriptionDuties and Responsibility• Support to the development and implementation of camp level vocational training• Support to VETA registered Vocational Training Centre• Management of Refugee Incentive Workers.• Designing and implementing trainings to the community• Design and implement capacity building programs to committees for smooth operation of community based training• Assist in data collection on camp level livelihood/labour/market/cash situation in regards to livelihoods.• Coordination with different partner agencies NGOs, UN and Government Authorities.

Credit Program Officer (3 Posts)DescriptionDuties and Responsibility• Support to the development and implementation of camp level finance programs.• Management of Credit Refugee Incentive Workers.• Designing and implementing trainings to the community on Savings and Credit.• Design and implement capacity building programs to committees for smooth operation of community based micro finance scheme.• Assist in data collection on camp level finance situation in regards to livelihoods.• Coordination with different partner agencies NGOs, UN and Government Authorities.
Criteria• At least 2 years of experience working in the community• At least 1 year of experience in community based savings scheme (SACOS, ROSCA, VSLA)• Advanced Degree in Economics, Finance, Rural Development, or any related Social Science field• Fluency in English.
Preference• Knowledge of Kirundi• Experience in working with Micro Finance Institution• Experience in working with the NGO• Experience in working in Refugee Camp
Vocational Training OfficerDescriptionDuties and Responsibilities• Monitoring vocational training in Nyarugusu Camp• Arranging vocational training in the camp• Assist in preparing vocational training activity plans, in consultation with the training providers• Organize and supervise implementation of vocational training courses, ensuring that all logistical arrangements are taken and that beneficiaries attend regularly• Ensure all trainings have clear objectives, budgets and all procedures are followed appropriately• Writing reports• Any other duty assigned by authority
Qualifications• University degree in development, economy or business related fields• Minimum 2 years of work experience with international/local NGOs in program/project implementation and management in the area of community development, refugee services, and livelihood projects/program;• Experience in Vocational Training for refugees will be an added advantage• Excellent command of written and spoken English• Ability in spoken French would be an asset.
