The Catholic St. Walburg's Hospital of Nyangao
with 220 beds and 200 staff is the Council Designated Hospital of Lindi Rural District. It is providing comprehensive quality health care services for the population of the district and far beyond.
We are looking for a suitable person to fill the position of a Hospital Administrator as soon as possible.
Under the strategic guidance of the Hospital Management Board and under the direct leadership of the Doctor in charge of the hospital the Administrator is responsible for managing the finances including creating income and limiting expenses, for budgeting and controlling, for human resources, the stores, the maintenance and for the assets of the hospital. http://nyangaohospital.com/.

- must have a Masters degree or similar in Hospital Administration, General Management, Business Management, Public Health or similar
- must have substantial working experience in leading positions of (health) institutions of similar size with decision power regarding overall planning, finances and human resources
- must have proven experience and training in the areas of management, planning, financial administration, accounting, human resource management, decision making,
- must be familiar with the set up and the running of the health system in Tanzania
- must be absolutely familiar and competent with computers (Office, Excel, ppt etc.)
- must be fully conversant with an accounting program (ideally BANANA)
- must be fluent in speaking, reading, writing in Swahili and English
