Role overview
Under the leadership of VSO,RITA and UNICEF, the volunteers will be responsible for coordination of the under five birth registration activities in the regions of Geita and Shinyanga. They will work closely with the local government authorities to ensure that all under fives in the respective regions are registered as per the government guidelines.
Skills, qualifications and experience
The prospect candidate will have a degree in sociology,community development or any related social science from any recognised institutions.
Allowance and accommodation
All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home.
VSO works with some of the poorest communities in the world which means accommodation varies and will be basic.
