ACCOUNTANT MOBISOL
Mobisol is a leading Germany company for prepared solar home system dedicated to deliver a clean affordable alternative to fossil fuels for low-income house hold living without access to reliable energy. Mobisol products combine solar energy with innovative mobile technology and microfinance. Mobisol is a spring to scale rapidly in order to reach hundred 50,000 customers in Tanzania and Rwanda
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Is the accurate accounting in the CO, this entails different task areas, payable, payroll, tax and compliance and treasury the responsible include for but not limited to
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
- Preparing and processing payments
- Ensuring accurate allocations by monitoring accounts and ensuring payment are up to date within agreed terms
- Regular reporting on accounts payable outstanding to the accountant team leader
- Preparing accounts payable account for audits
- Reconciliations accounts payable accounts by managing the mobisol bank accounts and creditors reconciliations
PAYROLL
- Prepare employees payroll each moths
- Preparing contractors payroll each months
- Monitoring and reconciliations all payroll
- Prepare of payroll accounts for audits
- Assisting finance team with period and closing and other activities as required
TAX AND COMPLIANCE
- Preparations and submission of statutory returns
- Monitoring and reconciliations of all taxation accounts
- Obtaining and maintaining records for all statutory license requirements
- Preparing taxations accounts and compliance issues for audits
PAYMENTS
- Preparing and processing cash and mobile money payments
- Ensuring accurate allocations of expense
- Regular reporting on standing staff imp rests to the accountant team leader
- Corresponding with employees to resolve any issues
- Monthly accounting and valuating stock
- Assisting finance team with period and end closing and other activities as required
- Monitoring and reconciling petty cash as well as performing regular cash
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree in accounting or finance related field
- 1 year experience in accounting environment
- Certified public accountant association or chaired accountants
- Computer literacy with high level of skills in excel and practical experience with accounting software
- Excellent communications skills and ability to build strong relation ship
- Fluency in English
- Passion for mobisol’s vision to plug in the world
