PROCUREMENT OFFICERS (2 POSITIONS)
Tanzania Postal Bank (TPB) seeks to appoint dedicated
, self-motivated and highly
organized Procurement officers (2 positions) to join the Procurement Management team
based in Dar es Salaam.

Reporting Line: Chief Manager Procurement
Locations: Dar es Salaam
Work Schedule: As per TPB Staff regulations
Division: Procurement
Salary: Commensurate to the Job Advertised


Essential Duties and R esponsibilities:-
  • Obtains quotations from suppliers/services providers, assess and vetting for suppliers other than GPSA before being awarded any work with TPB and meet specifications
  • Assist in preparation of tender notice, bidding documents and contract from time to time.
  • Assist in annual procurement plan in line with approved budget
  • Ensures deliveries are made against orders in orderly manner
  • Ensures timely clearance of goods from the port/Airport.
  • Undertakes customs, banking and insurance and other related documentation for imported goods.
  • Maintains good relationship with internal user and suppliers/service providers.
  • Generation of periodic reports (producing regular reports and statistics on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for goods, works and Tanzania Postal Bank is an established Bank by the Act No. 11 of 1991 as amended by Act No. 11 of 1992.
