GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS
- Must be a Tanzanian citizen
- Fluent in written and speaking Kiswahili and English
- Below age of 50
- Computer literacy
- A person with high level of integrity proven by good track record
- Experience in social security or health financing or health care
- Not an interested part in any health care institutions
- NHIF is an equal opportunity to employer

MAIN DUTIES
- Formulate policies regulations for sound administrations of operational functions of the fund
- Ensure the preparations of financial statement progress report of the fund and present them to board of directors
- Ensure that the fund maximize its income and in that process maximize its member benefit
- Make key decision on the overall management of the fund
- Acts as the chief spokes person and representative of the fund
- Gives periodic feed back to the board of directors regarding the fund performance
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master degree in business administrations, management, economics, corporate management, social science, preferably security administrations, insurance or any other equivalent qualifications
- Experience in 10 years working 6 of which is in senior management positions
