POSITION:ADVISORY FOR THE PRIVATE SECTOR
DUTY STATION:DAR ES SALAAM

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Together with the team expands E4D/SOGAs skills and matching portfolio
  • Leading the development and organizations of the E4D/SOGA industry partnership meetings
  • Overseeing Tanzanians economic development and detecting prospective large scale capital investment
  • Together with team developing and managing E4D/SOGA’s NEWTORK  of private sectors and public partners as well as with non-governmental actors
TASK
  • Organize regularly  industry partnership meetings including development of agenda drafting of the presentations updates and minutes as well as membership development
  • Plans budget implements and monitors development measures for private sectors
  • Monitors overall economic development  in Tanzania and keeps abreast of the status major investment projects attends forum and conference to collect relevant information’s
  • Assist the team leaders in managing relationship with large capital projects as current partners for SOGA/E4D
  • assist the E4D/SOGA team leader in management skills such as results  -oriented monitoring reporting communications and knowledge
  • assume the focal point of as elected transversal topic

QUALIFICATIONS
  • master in business, economics or development studies with a focus on economic or private sector development
  • a minimum 8 years of professional experience in private sector development cooperation’s/ government with a focus on private sector development
  • minimum 6 years of project management experience including development planning budgeting, implementing and monitoring
  • a minimum 6 years  of stake holders communications internal and external reporting as well as monitoring
  • experience in designing  implementing and monitoring private sector  developments activities
  • excellent conceptual communications and negotiating skills ability to express ideas Cleary and persuasive both orally and writing
  • overview competencies in TVET and skills development are set
  • excellent knowledge of English and Kiswahili speaking writing is a must


POSITION: ADMINSTRATIVE PROFESSIONAL
DUTY STATION:DAR ES SALAAM

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The junior administrative professional is responsible for
  • Assisting administrative professional in his/her administrative task
  • Ensuring that the secretariat runs smoothly
  • Ensuring god communications and flow information’s within the project/ programme and with the GIZ office with regard and administrative process

TASK

SECRETARIAT WORK
  • manages incoming and outgoing correspondence and priorities and organizing  it
  • replies to and looks after correspondence
  • helps in organizations of events meeting workshop and seminars within or outside the project
  • coordinating and monitoring cars pool utilizations
  • participate an international and external meeting and workshop and assist with document these by writing minutes
  • support staff in preparing with travel applications and travel claims
  • knowledge management – scan and distribute media and news paper articles  to all staff member in E4D/SOGA offices on daily basis

OFFICE COORDINATIONS, OFFICE MANAGEMENT AND GENERAL COORDINATIONS
  • The junior administrative professional
  • Regularly draws up a list of forthcoming meetings and events
  • Support on maintenance of project office equipment and office infrastructure by reporting damage defects in office fur shining and equipment to project management and organize and follows up on maintenance and repair
ADMINSTRATION AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
  • Create and maintain address files with important contact address
  • support the programme administrator in keeping financial monitoring up to date
  • backing administrator with cash book management

QUALIFICATIONS
  • bachelor in business administration’s with a focus an according and finance or related fields
  • at least 3 years professional experience in comparable position
  • good knowledge of accounting packages like pastel winPacs tally or similar
  • very good knowledge of Kiswahili and English in speaking and writing
  • knowledge of German is an asset
  • good management and organizational skill
  • customer services – oriented attitude
  • willingness up to skills as required by the task to be performed – corresponding measures are agreed with management

POSITION:ADVISORY FOR SKILLS AND EMPLOYMENT
DUTY STATION:DAR ES SALAAM

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • together with the team E4D/SOGA skills and matching portfolio
  • technical street ring and management of grants and contracts for implementations of SOGA/E4D skills and matching project with a regional focus on Tanzania Nothern’s and Southern regions and others
  • overseeing Tanzania development in skills and TVET as well as matching
  • leading the development t and organization of the E4D/SOGA skills management working group
  • support the programme and management in M&E reporting researching
TASK
  • support the development and management of E4D/SOGA skills and employment initiatives which are being implemented though different partnership
  • follows up on reports  to E4D/SOGA from contractual partners and grant – takers
  • support the coronations with VETA – Centre and VETA central
  • ensure the strong cooperation’s with E4D/SOGA private sector  team members as the programmer implements a strong demand driven approach
  • represent E4D/SOGA in the GIZ you match programme and activities
  • assume the focal point  of role  of selected transversal topic
  • assist the E4D/SOGA team leader in management tasks such as results-oriented monitoring, reporting communications and knowledge management
  • performs any other duties
QUALIFICATIONS
  • master in development studies with a focus on vocational raining
  • a minimum 8 years of professional experience in cooperation’s with a focus on employment promotion, skills development and matching/
  • minimum 6 years of project management experience including development planning budgeting, implementing and monitoring
  • a minimum 6 years  of stake holders communications internal and external reporting as well as monitoring
  • experience in designing  implementing and monitoring private sector  developments activities
  • Good understanding In job matching
  • Good understand of career guidance
  • Work experience in private  or public VET or skills provider is a asset
  • Overview competencies in private sector development is an asset
  • Excellent conceptual communications and vocational skills ability to express ideas clearly and persuasive both oral and writing
