As a Social media intern , we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. Requirements
Perform detailed desktop research for vodacom and competition. De-construct competitive best practices in digital marketing and create benchmarks. Conduct web asset audits to map a brand’s web presence and assess the effectiveness of each asset. Work closely with the various specialists involved with the implementation and management of our digital strategies. Identify opportunities to enhance overall marketing mix. Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. impressions etc.) Hands on experience with social media management for brands, Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics Proficiency with SEO, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and social platforms A good understanding of traffic , conversion and revenue metrics Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels Attention to detail and ability to multitask
