 Research and Data Entry Analyst Position Description:

Role: Research and Data Entry Analyst

Responsibilities:

- Monitor news in English and Swahili on a daily basis and summarize relevant articles
- Conduct research primarily from publicly available information and draft short profiles of stakeholders and business issues on a variety of global market topics
- Data entry
- Frequently communicate online with Project Manager and conduct personal meetings with TSC’s country projects manager

Skills:

- Strong internet research skills, and proficient in various social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
- Efficient at researching, reviewing, and synthesising information
- Strong English writing ability; in particular good spelling and grammar skills
- Critical thinking
- High professionalism, self-motivation, efficiency and results-oriented delivery on short timelines, ability to work independently

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent command of English and Swahili, both orally and in writing
- Analyst provides their own computer. Responsible for wifi access, which TSC will help compensate
- Ability to travel to Dar es Salaam on an as-needed basis (no more than once a month)

Hours:

- Minimum 15 hours a week, and up to 30 hours a week if required; hours based on Project - needs
