DESCRIPTION:
IESC – the International Executive Service Corps – is a US based not-for-profit with a focus on supporting private enterprise in developing countries. We have worked in partnership with local people in 130 countries - mainly with the generous support of USAID - designing, implementing, managing and evaluating a wide range of market driven solutions along the entire value chain of a company or industry.   
IESC is seeking a Partnership Coordinator for the USAID-funded ENGINE project, which will strengthen access to finance, business enabling environment, and local business service providers in Tanzania. This position will be full-time and be based in Dar es Salaam
Duties and Responsibilities:   
  • Maintain relationships with financial institutions and other partners;  
  • Develop MOUs with key collaborators to clarify roles and expectations in areas of cooperation;  
  • Liaise with financial institution and BDS partners to collect, verify and report performance data. 
Qualifications:   
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business administration, or related field required; Minimum five years of experience in banking or financial services;  
  • Experience in promoting access to finance for youth and women is desirable;
  • Familiarity and experience with international development principles and practices;  
  • USAID or other donor experience preferred;
  • Experience working in Tanzania required and local hire preferred;   
  • Proficiency in English and Swahili required.
