The Roads Fund Board is Government Institution under
the Ministry of Works, Transport and Communication established by the Roads and Fuel Tolls Act, CAP 220 of 2006. The Board invites applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacancies.
2.DRIVER GRADE II- CUM- MESSENGER- 1 post (Dodoma)
(I) Qualifications and Experience:
Holder of Form IV National Examination Certificate who has attended Advanced Drivers Course at the National Institute of Transport (NIT) and has been licensed to drive vehicles in classes A, Al, B, Cl, C2, and D. Must have a clean record in driving for at least three years. Holder of at least Trade Test Grade II (motor vehicle mechanics). Knowledge of computer applications will be an added advantage.
(ii) Main Duties and Responsibilities
Among the duties and responsibilities that he /she will be required to perform are:-
To drive vehicles to approved destinations and in accordance with traffic regulations; To ensure that all vehicles and accessories are in good condition; To maintain log books according to laid down regulations; To collect and deliver mails; To perform any other related duties assigned
