and love learning. Our interactive edu-cartoons are watched by over a million families in East Africa, and we’re expanding fast! We produce the hit TV edu-cartoon Ubongo Kids, which teaches math and science through fun, animated stories and catchy original songs.
We’re looking for a STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) Educator to work with us full time, ensuring educational quality of our STEM content, including animated episodes, radio programs, eBooks and digital apps. You will set learning objectives for content, then work closely with our production team through each stage of the production process, from outlining and storyboarding, through to final animation, to ensure that we’re creating the best learning content possible. You’ll also work with our research team to continually test and improve our content, teaching style and interaction with kids.
REQUIREMENT:
Minimum diploma in education, degree preferred and minimum 2 year work/field experience in classroom in teaching in science and mathematics
Proven track record and passion for teaching children in STEM subjects

We’re looking for a full time Digital Editor to manage our digital content creation, distribution and strategy across media and platforms. You must have excellent command of written English and Kiswahili, as well as skills in producing short form digital audio and video content.
Responsibilities:
Manage content creation and publication for Ubongo’s digital platforms including our websites (corporate, Akili and Me, Ubongo Kids), Facebook pages, YouTube Channels, partner platforms and apps. You will work with our production and marketing teams to collect, adapt and/or create video, audio, graphic and written content for these digital channels in both English and Kiswahili… and ensure that we create and distribute excellent, engaging and enriching content to our audience via the format and channel best for them
