Main Responsbilities
  • Control and direct receipt and distribution of product and equipment to agreed company standards
  • Monitoring stock cover on a daily basis to avert possible stock outs and overstocking.
  • Represent the company in all internal and external inspections (e.g. Safety and health)
  • Provide support to the housekeeping of the warehouse, ensuring that all products are stored as required in a clean environment and that there is inventory visibility.
  • Verifications of transporters documents before the products leave the warehouse. Implement daily cycle counts and stock cards monitoring.
  • Ensure that all products are well tagged before receiving them in the warehouse.
  • Co-ordinate efficient delivery of products to customers and ensure there is order fulfillment the same day.
  • Monitor the annual warehousing and distribution budgets.
  • Facilitate stock take and ensure that you achieve inventory accuracy
  • Picking accuracy - the percentage of orders picked with both accurate items and quantities ensure there no repeat deliveries in a week.
  • Provide a report on distribution quality complaints and service issues.
  • Provide a weekly report on slow moving products
  • Provide a report on stock levels (finished goods-level inventory)
  • Report quality deviations and corrective measurements to the relevant internal
  • In charge of all license renewals pertaining the warehouse.
  • Build up and maintain clear communication and co-operation with all internal (e.g supply chain, sales divisions, HR) and external interfaces.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in warehouse management/distribution/inventory controls
  • Experience in the chemical manufacturing industry will be beneficial but not essential
  • Must have working expeirence with Cisco ERP
  • Must be a fast learner
