Kilombero Sugar Company, the largest producer of sugar in the country, is inviting a dynamic and result oriented person to fill a vacancy of Purchasing Supervisor existing in the Company. This position involves planning, organizing, leading and controlling procurement functions and procurement internal control.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Holder of an Advanced Diploma or Degree in: Procurement, Inventory or related field. Relevant work experience of at least 2 years working within finance department. General knowledge in procurement and stores, Computer literacy and Supervisory Skills. In addition, he/she should be someone that portrays a positive and assertive attitude, keenness to develop, and should be a "self-starter".

Tasks:
1.Contract management and negotiation
2.Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them. ,
4.Processing payments and invoices.
5.Producing reports and statistics on company purchases
6.Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities.
7.Keeping contract files and using them as reference for the future
8.Understanding technology and managing online systems such as e-auctions and e-tendering.
9.Responsible for a monthly ICM review - complete checklist and reports all deviations.
10.Provides advice to users regarding the purchasing process, available vendors and test price from time to time.
11.Ensures that all operations are carried out as per the IS0900 1 :2008 Quality Management Systems at
Kilombero Sugar to achieve 'the quality standards. 11Training and supervising the work of buyers.
12.Developing an organisation's purchasing strategy.
13.Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Line Management.



TERMS OF SERVICE:
The successful candidate will be engaged on a permanent contract.
