Tetra Tech, through its subsidiary Tetra Tech ARD (http://www.tetratechintdev.com). a US-based international development firm is implementing a USAID-funded project 'the Tanzania Water Resources Integration Development Initiative (WARIDI) which seeks to achieve improvements in health, water resources management, agriculture, climate change adaptation and the environment in Tanzania. Win rock Intemational (http://www.winrock.org), a US-based international non-profit Organization , is a sub-contractor to Tetra Tech on WARIDI and is supporting its implementation.
Tetra Tech and Winrock are advertising for the following positions to be based in the Office (except where noted). All applicants should be Tanzanian citizens and be fluent in Swahili and English. Some positions are immediate and some will be phased in over the coming 3 - 4 months. Ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity and gender are essential requirements


Sanitation Lead 2 Posts - Morogoro or Iringa Office

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in hygiene and sanitation programs in Tanzania, Demonstrated track record effectively coordinating, Integrated rural development projects working on sanitation, Experience using different sanitation methods and an openness to new ideas, Experience working on donor funded projects is preferred,

Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in sanitation, sociology, or related area,

Responsibilities:
The Sanitation Leads will be responsible for the Sanitation activities that are carried out in the WARIDI program ,in coordination With other technical staff, Key field-level implementation activities are, likely to be1.) Organization of technical training to local sanitation entities; 2) business development services to facilitate creation and expansion of private sector enterprise development for sanitation products and services in distributed markets, and 3) product marketing to households and communities to increase demand for sanitation related products and services,
