Job Title: Village Handyman
Duty station: SOS Children's Village Mwanza
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
H/she overall in charge for maintenance of the village
Maintains and repairs water and sewage installations including drains, pipelines, water mains, sewage plant
Prepares and implements a schedule of preventive maintenance tasks for the program in Mwanza
Ensures the safety of all equipment, particularly in children's play areas in the family houses
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
CSEE and Certificate in full Technician from any recognized VETA colleges I institutions
Good knowledge and experience on masonry, plumbing and electricity.
Fluent in English and Swahili
Decent and well-disciplined candidate, interested to work with children loves children
Computer basic skills
At least two years working experience preferably in this field.
Basic knowledge on Child rights and child protection
