seeks to appoint dedicated, self motivated and highly organized temporary
Credit Officer for group lending ( 1 position) to join the Retail Business
Banking team for six months. The work station is Musoma .

1.
This position is responsible for Group Lending by
ensuring that unit/branch is complying with the established group lending
policy and procedures including applicant’s assessment
2.
To provide information concerning the performance of
the loans portfolio
3.
To ensure good customer service, improved performance
and profitability as well as effective risk control and management in the
lending portfolio in line with TPB’s objectives..
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
l
Ensuring on quality group lending portfolio for
branch
l
To ensure collections/repayments of group loans
at the branch as well as ensuring the loans are managed in accordance with the
group loans credit policy and lending manual.
l
To make follow up of queries raised by internal
and external auditors.
l
To do reconciliation, dealing with suspended
transactions and mis balancing on related G/L Accounts of Micro Group Lending.
l
In coordination with branch managers, he/she
will deal with list of borrowers who have missed loan installments, un serviced
loans, under/over deducted installments
l
To ensure that weekly, monthly quarterly and
annual portfolio reports are prepared
l
Liase with the branches to ensure that no
queries are raised by customers or auditors with regard to Group Micro Lending
product
l
Ensure that all the Group Micro loan repayment
are collected and deposited into TPB’s bank account within 12 hours by cross
checking group funding accounts.
l
Cross sell other TPB’s products and services
l
Participate in the preparation of branch/min
branch annual plan and projections for group loan portfolio
l
Ensure accurate and timely filing of both group
and individual loan documentation
l
Attend any other duties as may be assigned by
the superior
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Education and experience:
Bachelor degree in Banking, Accounting, Finance,
Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field and plus 1 year
related experience in the related field.
