Sightsavers seeks to recruit a mature, experienced, self-driven, dynamic
and result oriented Project Coordinator, based in Singida – Tanzania
who is keen to develop a career in a dynamic organisation and
challenging environment.
Reporting to the Programme Manager, the incumbent will be responsible
for coordinating, supporting and working with partners on site for
enhancing equal accountabilities. This role will play a key part in
planning and reviews, implementation and continuous monitoring.
The ideal candidate will be a Tanzanian national (or any national
permitted to work in Tanzania) who has a degree in a relevant field
(Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Development Studies or Economics).
You should have a minimum of five years working experience, ideally in
an NGO environment managing social development related projects. You
should have experience of health and social programming in partnership
with the government as well as project management experience in donor
supported initiatives (especially multilateral donors DFID, USAID, EU
etc). You should have excellent project management and communication
skills both oral and written.
