Our client is a largest exporter of processed food products and agro commodities: Processed Frozen Fruit and Vegetable
products Frozen / Chilled Meat, Coffee, Spices and Cereals etc

We are looking for experienced HR Professional: Tanzanian Nationals only for this role

Job Description/Responsibilities:

To manage entire gamut of Human Resource Initiatives for the organization.

Manpower Planning:
Designing the organizational set-up for existing establishment and upcoming projects.
Formulating & revising Organizational Structure with proper manning & implementation.
Redeployment of employees to attain optimum utilization of manpower.
Manpower planning, mapping, recruitment costing & recruitment lead time.
Manpower Planning based on organogram, JD`s & deployment of employees.
Preparation of Manpower requirement and budget for the Corporate Office and Plants.

Talent Acquisition:
Planning for talent acquisition in close conjunction with the corporate team for existing and new project at different phases.
Developing and implementing SOP for recruitment to reduce the lead time.
Handling mass recruitment and driving team to achieve the recruitment target.
Supervision on the recruitment activities through data bank, employee referrals, Head hunting, placement consultants, job portals and direct
Initial screening & interview of short listed candidates at HR level based on JD`s.
Supervision on Interview formalities & Interview of candidates with selection panel.
Negotiation of Salary & others benefits & Issuing of Appointment Letters.
Tracking of selected candidates from date of selection to on board.
Identify manpower pain area & fine tune the recruitment approach methodology accordingly.

Induction of New Employees:
Create and manage a comprehension Induction process
Conduct joining formalities.
Monitoring on the updating of employee personal files.
Managing induction and orientation programmes for the newly hired employees.
Collecting & analysis of induction feedback of new comer.

Formulation of HR Processes, Policies & Procedures

Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Administration

Training & Development
Identifying training needs & ensuring measurability & effectiveness across the organization.
Conducting customized training programmes based on the training need analysis to enhance the manpower skills & efficiency.

Employee Relations & engagement:
Identifying patterns, trends and root causes for making recommendation(s) to Management to improve motivation, increase retention, engagement
and efficiency of employees through employee satisfaction surveys.
Initiated various communication forums between peers, supervisors and top management.
Implementation of employee friendly HR Policies and formulating Employee Grievance Handling initiatives

Performance Management
Conceptualize & design the Performance Management System (PMS) modules and Roll-out plan.
Manage performance appraisal process in terms of system review, format design, implementation & control.
Develop parameters for performance analysis.
Utilizing performance information in skill management, talent retention, succession planning.
Implemented Personal Development Plan towards achieving career aspirations & goals.
Defined Career Plan through Individual Development Plan (IDP) for high performers

Competency & Capability Building:
Design & deploy a ‘Role based Competency’ model, encompassing Role Profiling.
Develop Talent Assessment to build individual & organizational capabilities.
Created Capability Development Plan to enhance current competency levels required for a job/role, to drive business results.
Integrated this framework with HR processes for enhancing organizational effectiveness.

Statutory Compliances:
Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and
reporting are in compliance.
Implementation & supervision of entire statutory compliances.
Liaison with Govt. Authority, regulatory & statutory bodies, whenever required, for compliances & smooth running of plant and the organisation.
Ensure safe custody & confidentiality of all statutory records & files.

Industrial/Labour Relation:
Coordination, organization, implement IR strategies at various sites and work closely with the HR and Project Managers team to facilitate maximum
work output and maintain customer responsive work environment.
Legal matters, conciliation, adjudication, liaison with company’s advocates and legal consultants, whenever required.
Supervising multi-division industrial relations ensuring “customer responsive work environment”.
