VACANCIES ANNOUNCEMENT
Tanzania Coffee Board which is a government body established by the Tanzania Coffee Industry Act. No. 23 of 2001 and miscellaneous Amendments Act of 2009, is hereby inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced, dynamic and motivated Tanzanian citizens to immediately fill vacant positions currently existing in the Board.
JOB TITLE: Quality and Sales Manager
Responsible to: Director of Coffee Quality and Promo
Distinct areas of expertise and experience:
• Holder of Masters Degree in Agriculture, Commerce: Business Administration, Marketing or its equivalent from a recognized University / Institution with Two years working experience 3 of which must be at Senior Managerial level in the public sector or reputable private organizations.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Advisor to the Director of Coffee Quality and Promotion on quality and sales function.
• Preparation of annual sale plan.
• Developing and implementing advertisement strategies.
• Ensures the availability of high quality marketing materials
• Conducts survey on clients/customers satisfaction by monitoring their responses.
• Compiles sale data.
• Ensures the quality of coffee auction sample before dispatching the same to local exporters and overseas buyers.
• Assist the director of coffee quality and promotion to organize auction.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Director of Coffee Quality and Promotion.
REMUNERATION
The successful candidate will be offered remunerations commensurate with the TCB's remuneration schemes.

JOB TITLE: Warehouse Officer Grade II
Responsible to: Director of Coffee Quality and Promotion
Distinct areas of expertise and experience: -
• Holder of Degree / Advance Diploma in logistic and Procurement or its equivalent from recognized institution.
Duties and Responsibilities
• To monitor physical storage and conditions of coffee products.
• To raise picking instructions (warehouse orders) based on corresponding bulking instructions raised.
• To participate in routine and non routine physical check/perpetual inventory for stores under custody in line with a planned counting schedule provided by Export Manager as may be required from time to time. .
• To reconcile coffee physical stock against record balance and report to the Export Manager.
• To provide timely information to the Export Manager on any discrepancy. ~
• Ensure adherence to handover procedures in case of emergency or annual leave.
• Performs any other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor

JOB TITLE: Office Management Secretary II
Responsible to: Director of Finance and Administration
Distinct areas of expertise and experience
• Holder of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE)/ Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with passes in English and Kiswahili with a Diploma in Secretarial Studies from institutions recognized by the Government preferably TPSC.
• Must also have a relevant working experience of not less than five (5) years from a reputable organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
• To send and receive messages, focsimiles and e-mails
• To prepare minutes in respect of various meetings held
• To originate and raise requisitions for office requirements '
• To make bookings and travel arrangements for assigned officers
• Type letters, minutes, circulars and all documents required for the day to day running of the Board
• Take dictations and transcribe accordingly,
• Order office supplies and keep them in safe custody,
• Handle telephone contacts,
• Maintain a register of incoming and outgoing files and ensure proper record of movement of files. '
• Keep classified documents and information in confidence,
• Guide newly employed secretaries on office routine,
• Maintenance and operation of office equipment allocated to the office,
• Receive and handle visitors with courtesy
• Secure, safeguard and maintain in safe custody all confidential files and other sensitive documents/record
• Arrange for availability of files, documentation and/or other records that may be required
• To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by his/her superior
