Introduction
Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) was established under the Tanzania
Revenue Authority Act No.ll Of 1 995.The Authority is a semi-autonomous agency of the Government responsible for the administration of the Central
Government faxes as well as several non-tax revenues. TRA is currently implementing its Fourth Corporate Plan whose vision is to "To increase domestic revenue through enhancement of voluntary tax compliance".
TRA would like to recruit dynamic and qualified personnel to fill vacant positions in the Human Resources & Administration Department. Applications are therefore invited from suitably qualified Tanzanians for the following positions:
Job Title: DRIVERS
Purpose of the Job
• Safely driving TRA's Motor Vehicles and conduct deliveries.
Major Activities of the Job
• Carry out a daily inspection of the vehicle and ensure safe driving.
• Maintain the car log book by recording all trips and fuel consumption.
• Prepare fuel, oil and car logbook returns for the vehicle.
• Maintain the vehicle and report to the supervisor any vehicle defects that need repairs. .
• Distribution of internal and external mails.
• Ensure cleanliness of the Vehicles
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Job Requirements
Qualification
• Certificate of Secondary Education.
• Clean driving license classes C or C1 + C2 + C3.
• Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics from VETA or a Trade Test
• Grade in Automobile Engineering from a recognized Institution.
• Certificate in Motor Vehicle Driving from recognized institution is added advantage

• At least five years driving experience, two of which must be 'in either of the above mentioned classes.

Job Title: Office Assistants
Purpose of the job
To distribute mail, documents to staff and perform other office duties dictated from time to time.
Major activities of the job
• Distribute documents to respective officials.
• Prepare and distribute tea to staff and visitors
• Receive and forward mail to Post office
• Move files to and from registries.
• Custodian of office entrance keys
• Photocopy and bind documents
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Minimum job requirements
Qualifications
• Certificate of Secondary Education with at least two passes in English and Kiswahili.
• Age not exceed 40 years by the time of application.
• Computer certificate or or its equivalent will be added advantage.
