The Agricultural Inputs Trust (AGITF) is a revolving fund which is under
the Management of Board of Trustees. The fund was established by Act of
Parliament No.9 of 1994. The fund is looking for dynamic, qualified and
committed Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions.
POSITION: HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER( 1 POST)
Responsible to: Human Resources and Administration Manager
(ii) Minimum Qualifications: graduate in Human Resource Management Public Administration from a recognized Institution. Knowledge and clear understanding of procedures, regulations, policies and laws governing management of human resource.
(iii) Experience
At least 3 years proven experience in human resources management in reputable organization Knowledge of HCMS (Human Capital Management Information System)
Duties and Responsibilities:
(a) Advising on recruitment and selection of human resources required by the Organization. Ensuring that standard procedures in respect of recruitment, grading, salaries, training and promotion are observed in the Organization by all the departments/section.
(b) Ensuring that annual performance appraisals for all the staff are carried out.
(c) Submitting to the Human Resources and Administration Manager details of annual wage reviews with guidelines set by the Organization.
d) Designing and maintaining personnel records to meet statutory requirements.
e)Carrying out annual personnel exercise of conformations, promotion and discipline.
g)Establishing manpower and skill needs at all levels of departments/section, considering all current operations and programmed expansion.
(g) Developing and administering a career development programme for high potential employees.
(h) Advising on the administration of staff regulations and conditions of service.
(i) Preparing voluntary agreements, negotiating with Trade Unions and administering proper industrial relations and high work moral programmes.
(j) Ensuring that changes in personnel policies introduced by management are implemented smoothly.
k) Advising on employees' benefits entitlement and welfare.
I) Advising on matters arising from performance appraisal interviews.
m) Developing, organizing and conducting training programmes.
(n) Performing other duties as may be directed by the Human Resources and Administration manager.
Age Limit: Not above 45 years of age.
Remuneration: Salary and other benefits will be according to AGITF Scheme of Service.
