Objectives:
To ensure availability and continuous improvement of Quality of Services by providing continuous network and service monitoring, fault management including reporting and escalation, and timely resolutions of incidents and faults.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Work in the NOC on a 24/7 shift schedules, provide continuous monitoring of network and services, and undertake initial troubleshooting and rectifications.
2. Proactively initiate incident management process and generate action plans to resolve incidents/faults.
3. Register, analyze, and resolve incidents by performing root cause analysis and implementing changes to rectify incidents/faults.
4. Issue/close trouble tickets, follow-through and manage the escalations.
5. Coordinate operational activities with field engineers/technicians, service providers, equipment vendors, and customers through SLA procedures.
6. Provide support to field engineers and technicians on operation and maintenance activities.
7. Provide 24/7 service support to customers.
8. Provide shift reports aligned to set network and service KPIs.
9. Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by management.
Key Qualifications / Experience / Skills:
1. Bachelor degree or equivalent level in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, Information Technology or Data Communications Engineering.
2. Minimum of two (2) years working experience in telecommunications industry or excellent pass grade from the University/College.
3. Good understanding of Telecommunications or ISP network architecture.
4. Good understanding of Network Management Systems (NMS) and Operation Support Systems (OSS).
5. Excellent knowledge in at least one of the following domains:
a. Core Network: IMS/NGN, CS Core, PS Core, PSTN
b. Transport Network: DWDM/OTN, IP/MPLS, Microwave (SDH)
c. Access Network: Metro Ethernet network, GPON, DSL, POTS, Microwave network, 2G, 3G, 4G RAN
6. Experience with Telecommunications Operations and Maintenance support.

Objectives:
To ensure availability and continuous improvement of quality of service by providing operation and maintenance support for the Radio Access Network (2G/3G/4G RAN – BSC/RNC, BTS, Node B, eNode B).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate and maintain Radio Access Network (RAN) to meet high quality network KPIs and service standards.
2. Register, analyze and resolve incidents by performing root cause analysis and implement changes in coordination with higher-level support teams including suppliers’ support lines.
3. Implement changes on the systems/network and provide reports in line with change management process.
4. Perform Provisional Acceptance Tests (PAT) for newly installed systems, applications or networks.
5. Perform quality acceptance of integration reports received from the network development and implementation teams for each site put on air.
6. Proactively provide feedback on the overall capacity planning and coverage issues to the network development team.
7. Proactively suggest re-works in line with the guidelines set by the optimization teams (azimuth, tilts, expansions, etc) in coordination with the network development team.
8. Monitor traffic performance trend and proactively take actions meant to contribute on the improvement of quality of service and user experience.
9. Support the testing and introduction of new services.
10. Provide 24/7 service support to field engineers, technicians and customers.

Key Qualifications / Experience / Skills:

Job Title:     Transport Network Engineer

Objectives:
To plan, design and develop/rollout transport network (core and access) as per company network roadmap. It involves delivery on time and with quality design HLD and LLD for core and access transport network. To produce detailed transport network plans that will generate source data for planning transport network elements, define network element dimensioning, configuration and integration parameters/designs. The job holder will be fully responsible for setting transport network KPIs, network performance and optimization as well as infrastructure lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan network design for Transmission (Transport) network which include the access transmission and core transmission (Microwave, fiber, OTN/DWDM etc).
• Provide High Level and Low Level designs, including the planned services for the different transport network (including Mobile access Transmission, Fixed transport , Core Transmission and IP network)
• Provide “in time“ Data builds (i.e. Planned configurations) for the different Transport network solutions ( including Mobile access Transmission, Fixed transport , Core Transmission and IP network)
• Perform Configuration management of the whole Transport network infrastructure end to end.
• Design efficient and cost effective dimensioned transport network infrastructure
• Support Network Operations and Implementation teams in various Access and transport projects
• Prepare quality detailed technical specifications, Bill of Quantities (BoQ), tender documents(RFQ) to ensure efficient procurement of planned core network equipments
• Produce Transport Network Master Planning according to the marketing requirements
• Based on the detailed design, create ready to implement data build (i.e. planned configuration, IP address & switch port management, parameter list) for the Access and Transport network solutions ( including access Transmission, Core Transmission and IP network)
• Provide configurations plan for transport network infrastructure on the HUB and Backbone locations
• 3rd line support of design related problems in the transport network.
• Lead acceptance testing processes (PAT) for the Transport Network in liaison with Contractors as well as Network Project and Operations departments.
• Collect and analyze transport network statistics against set KPIs and best practice so as to identify areas of improvement. This includes receiving and analyzing optimization reports from Network Performance and NOC.
• Perform impact assessment (dependences) before recommending any changes in the network through direct reports, as well as leading any changes into the transport network by producing appropriate Works Authorities
• In liaison with Project Office, prepare detailed project plans for implementation of Transport Network Infrastructure including estimations of all human and other resource requirements, and milestones definitions.
• Follow up on changes implemented in transport network and ensure that impact assessment is done on changes made by testing and observation through direct reports.
• Review technology and service trends in the telecommunications field as relates to transport network and recommends on areas of improvement.
• Establish and recommend proper planning tools and IT based facilities for achievement of quality Network planning process
Key Qualifications / Experience / Skills:
1. First degree in Telecommunications engineering, Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Preferably registered Engineer by the recognized National/International body.
3. Professional Training & Certifications in the following areas: GSM/UMTS/LTE, NGN, IP Transport, core & access transport technologies for mobile and fixed networks is an added advantage
4. At least 4 years experience in mobile / fixed transport network systems with high applied knowledge of traffic engineering and network planning tools – experience in network planning is an added advantage.
5. Up to date and comprehensive knowledge of telecommunications trends and technologies in which compiles an expertise and technical skills as follows.
• In-depth knowledge of mobile and fixed network architectures
• In-depth knowledge of transmission concepts and topologies

Objectives:
To create, develop, and implement and obtain organizational commitment for FMC product/service development strategies for chosen market segments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To prepare business cases and to provide the necessary inputs to the business plan and forecasting process for revenue and cost forecasts for FMC product/ services and provide background (actuals, market information etc.) for the numbers you provide.
2. To assemble and lead cross functional teams to identify, evaluate, and obtain corporate approval for new products, enhancements, and new business opportunities that align with TTCL strategic goals and priorities and have significant financial impact.
3. To ensure FMC products/service, enhancements and businesses are set up to win in the market in the short term and the long term
4. Develop and execute “Go to Market strategies” for FMC products/services.
5. Effective and efficient continuous monitoring of industry trends in relation to FMC product/services product both in Tanzania and abroad for the appropriate input to the development of product and service concepts.
6. Proactively manage FMC product/services portfolio within budget to ensure that revenue and customer targets are met.
7. Continuously review performance of the Product Name and enhancement of feedback from the sales force, operations and developments in the market for product performance continuity.
8. Drive the Market Research and Tariffing section to ensure appropriate information is sought for use in the development/enhancement of the product and service that ensure the product is aligned with the broader tariffing strategy of TTCL.
9. Ensure product documentation and the Product Manual is up to date, in both Softcopy, hardcopy and on the TTCL intranet.
10. Always be aware of developments in the market place with respect to competition, vendors, market channels, customers.
11. Liaise with IT and billing Group for the appropriate alignment and support between product development and existing or planned functionality of the billing system.
12. Liaise with Network Services Group to ensure appropriate alignment between product development and existing or planned technologies.
13. Provide the definition and monitoring of targets associated with revenues, uptake and quality standards, for measuring the effectiveness of the product development and life cycle.
14. Drive Advertising and Promotions unit to ensure that advertising and promotions activities are aligned with the product releases.
15. Responsible for the development, implementation and review of effective and efficient processes and procedures for managing the product with the quality assurance unit.
16. Support the marketing team in the development of the overall marketing plan and sales strategy by providing all relevant input related to the product(s) and service.
17. Provide appropriate training to TTCL’s sales and customer care personnel to ensure appropriate knowledge of TTCL products.
18. Report on the performance of TTCL’s product development activities in terms of the above targets against budgets/plans and review and report on variations to plans, offering action to take advantage of any given opportunity.
19. Ensure all costs and expenditure of development, release and productlife cycle is within the fiscal budget.
Key Qualifications / Experience / Skills:
1. Either of the following;
• University Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, or Electronic Systems Engineering with 3 years’ experience in the relevant technical field. OR Technical Diploma with 3 years’ experience in either specialized FMC product development in the telecommunication industry with Fixed or mobile network.
• Thorough knowledge of products, services, processes, procedures in two of the following areas:
o Wireless Services
o Broadband and Internet Services
o Voice and Converged Communication Services
o Customer Premise Equipment (such as IP-PBX’s, phone systems and network equipment)
o Data Centre and Cloud-based services
o Database Marketing Principles and Marketing Analytics
• . Thorough knowledge in two of the following technology areas:
o Wireless networks, services, devices, platforms and technologies
o Internet Protocol, SIP, VPN, IP-related and data network related technologies
