APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
ENERGY
AND WATER UTILITIES REGULATORY AUTHORITY
Pursuant to Section 10 (2) of the EWURA Act (Cap 414), the
Nomination Committee hereby invites qualified candidates for appointment to the
Board of Directors of the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority
(EWURA) to fill one vacancy.
Qualifications Required
Pursuant to Section 2 of the First
Schedule of Cap 414, the Nomination Committee shall consider for appointment to
the Board of Directors of EWURA suitable candidates with the following
qualifications:
a) Graduates
of a recognized University;
b) At
least ten (10) years experience in one or more of management, law, economics,
finance or engineering;
c) Knowledge
of the Industry;
d) He/She
is unlikely to have a conflict of interest under Section 12 of Cap
414 ;
e) Willing
to serve as members; and
f)
Suitable to perform the functions and duties of a
member competently and honestly.
Applications from suitable candidates enclosing certified
copies of relevant certificates and curriculum vitae (CV) should reach the
undersigned not later than 24 th March, 2016. The CV should include names,
addresses and contact telephone numbers and emails of three references. The
envelope should be marked on top “APPOINTMENT
TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF EWURA".
